Fitness has been important to me since I was a child. I grew up playing every sport I had time to; from baseball and football to soccer and hockey, I was always active. In high school I participated in football, basketball and baseball while making sure to conquer a good education. When I entered college, I decided that it was important to learn more about how the body works from the inside out. I pursued a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in sports medicine. This has allowed me to understand all the mechanics and movements of the human body. As a former collegiate athlete, I understand the commitment level and work ethic it takes to achieve success at a high level.
After college, I realized I wanted to set my focus on helping individuals with post rehabilitation and fitness training. I have spent the past seven years working in clinics with a number of unique patients. I have seen all kinds of injuries; everything from sprained ankles to total hip replacements. My education and knowledge of the human body have allowed me to understand these injuries and the necessary steps a client needs to take to return to full health. Since opening Archetype Fitness, not only have I been able to continue my work in post rehabilitation, I have been able to branch further into the world of fitness. The relationships that I have created and developed in the past few years are truly special to me. I love helping people reach their potential by making positive changes in their life, as does our staff.
